Our Business is Changing!
We have been a Vauxhall car and van dismantler, selling spare parts to the general public and trade for over 20 years! However, since early 2017, as many of you will know, we have been recycling all makes and models of vehicle.
Recycling entails vehicles coming to our yard to be dismantled in our authorised treatment facility (ATF). All fluids are drained and disposed of in the correct manner, batteries, engines and gearboxes are removed and the body shell of the vehicle is sent away to be crushed. The batteries, catalytic converter, engines and gearboxes are then sent away to be recycled.
Therefore, 80% of our business is now based on recycling (scrap cars, batteries, alloy wheels and non-ferrous metals) and now only 20% is the sale of vehicle parts.
In the coming months, our aim is to become a full scrap buying and recycling business, including ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals and to totally move away from selling parts.
However, we will be keeping our name as Vauxhall Mania Ltd for the foreseeable future.
